Terms of Service
Agentify My Site is a free public scanner operated by Colossal. By using it, whether through the web form, the API, the MCP endpoint, or an embedded badge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. For what we store and why, see our privacy page.
What the service does
You enter a website address and we fetch its public pages and well-known files, the same things any browser or crawler sees. We grade how findable and citable the site is by AI search, and how legible it is to autonomous agents, then hand back a score and paste-ready prompts you can use to fix the gaps.
The service is provided free of charge, as-is, with no service level or uptime commitment. We may change the checks, the scoring, the report layout, or any part of the service at any time, and we may suspend or withdraw it entirely without notice.
Acceptable use
Use the scanner on sites you own, or on sites you are otherwise entitled to inspect. Do not:
- Use the service to attack, overload, probe, or otherwise disrupt a site, or as part of any activity that would be unlawful in your jurisdiction or the target site’s.
- Attempt to make the scanner reach private, internal, or non-public network addresses. We actively block this, and circumvention attempts are a breach of these terms.
- Automate, script, or distribute requests to work around the rate limits or the daily scan cap, or to bypass the human-verification check.
- Bulk-harvest report pages, badges, or scores to build a competing dataset or product.
- Misrepresent a report as an audit, a certification, an endorsement, or a security assessment of any site, including your own.
We may block any address, request, or user that breaches these terms, with no notice and no obligation to explain.
Fair-use limits
To keep the service free and available, requests are rate limited per IP address and the service as a whole has a daily scan cap. Scan results are cached for about 12 hours, so a repeat scan of the same site may return the earlier result rather than run fresh. These limits exist to protect the service and the sites being scanned, and we may adjust them at any time.
Report pages and the badge
Every scan creates a shareable report at a public URL on this site. Anyone with the link can view it. The report describes the scanned site’s public signals. If you would like a report page taken down, email us at the address below and we will consider the request.
You may embed the badge for a site you control on that site, unmodified, keeping the link back to its report page. The badge is served live and reflects the most recent scan, so the score it shows can go up or down without warning. Do not alter the badge artwork or present a score other than the one the badge returns.
No warranty on scores or fix prompts
The score, grade, findings, and fix prompts are automated best-effort output based on what the scanner could fetch at the time. They may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They are not professional, legal, security, or SEO advice.
The fix prompts are written to be pasted into your own tooling and applied to your own site. Review them before you run them. You are responsible for anything you change on your site as a result, including backups, testing, and the consequences of any change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and accept no liability for loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or other law that cannot be excluded. Because the service is supplied free of charge and for business use, we do not accept liability beyond that.
Ownership
The site, its scanner engine, scoring model, wording, and artwork are ours. You keep everything that is yours: your website, its content, and the changes you make using our prompts. You are free to use the fix prompts we give you on your own site without restriction.
Third parties
The service runs on Cloudflare and links out to other sites, including our own AEO service at colossal.nz. We are not responsible for third-party sites or the content of any site we scan, and a scan is not an endorsement of it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date below always shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms go to [email protected].
